Can you help us find and preserve the stories of these lost Civil War soldiers?

Some of these men left Maine and were never heard from again. Others died young, disappeared west, or left behind only fragments of a story.
These are the men we plan to feature in Season Two of Company D. We have already collected a lot of information about these soldiers, but we want to go deeper. We are putting out a call to seek letters, photographs, diary entries, and family stories about them.
Are you a decendant with this information?
Are you a historical society with materials about them?
If so, we want to hear from you!
We’d like to connect with descendants or with local historical societies/public libraries who might have more details about their lives. Below is a list of the soldiers who served with Company D of the Third Maine Infantry Regiment in the American Civil War that we’re interested in highlighting this season.
If you have any of this kind of personal information about these soldiers, we want to hear from you!
Email us: companydpodcast(AT)gmail.com.
If we use your materials, you will receive acknowledgment in the show credits.
