History deserves a future

Company D is a narrative history podcast telling the documented stories of ordinary soldiers from Maine’s Third Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War.

Each episode is built from primary sources — diaries, pension files, newspapers, letters, and archival records — and crafted for a general audience.

We partner with organizations that value history, education, research, and cultural preservation through tasteful, public radio–style sponsorship acknowledgments. We have established relationships with public libraries and historical societies throughout Maine and have built a Resource Center to help share and preserve the stories of the Third Maine — one of the state’s underappreciated Civil War regiments.

What Sponsorship Means

Sponsorships take the form of brief, host-read acknowledgments integrated into each episode — similar to public radio underwriting.

These are not traditional advertisements.

They are respectful credits that recognize your organization’s support while preserving the integrity of the storytelling.
