Albert S. Merry: Did He Kill His Estranged Wife?
Join us for our second Company D Noir mystery

ALBERT S. MERRY AND HIS WIFE, NANCY, HAD A BITTER, ONGOING CONFLICT OVER MONEY.
Albert S. Merry was a former corporal with Company D of the Third Maine Infantry. Later in life, Albert was in and out of the Old Soldiers’ Home in Togus, Maine. His second wife, Nancy, moved within a mile of the facility to be closer to him. But their relationship soured.
The root cause was Albert’s military pension. She accused him of withholding money and leaving her in poverty. She also accused him of physical and mental abuse.
Albert countered that Nancy was controlling and emotionally manipulative.
It all came to an end on the coldest night of winter in 1907, when Nancy was found dead in her woodshed.
Listen to the Episode 18 trailer, “The Merry Affair,” today, and find out if Albert S. Merry killed his wife when the full episode drops on October 14.
